The Science of the Solar Eclipse

Students in grades Kindergarten through 8th Grade are invited to join us at the Library on Friday, February 16th at 1:30 PM. Educators from the Imagination Station in Toledo will be sharing this presentation with us, sponsored by the Friends of the Library. This workshop is designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the ways the sun, Earth, and moon interact. From the phases of the moon to total solar eclipses, your amateur astronomers will discover how these interactions can be seen both daily and through once-in-a-lifetime experiences. It will build excitement and provide a learning opportunity for this fascinating event. Open to students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade.
