Story Time
Babies through preschool aged children and a parent or guardian are invited to join us for Story Time at the Library. Story Times are held Tuesdays at 6:15 PM and Fridays at 10:30 AM, October through April. A full calendar is available for upcoming Story Times. No registration is required.

Crafts

painters paletteCalling all crafty kids. Join us at the Library on Wednesday, June 29th at 1:00 PM for a fun indoor craft session. This event is part of the Summer Reading Program, "On Your Mark, Get Set, Read!"

Closing Early

balloonsThe Library will be closing at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, July 20th for the Summer Reading Program Finale. Participants of the Summer Reading Program are invited to a pool party at Ambassador Pool beginning at 4:30 PM. Food will be served and prizes will be given at the shelter house behind the pool with swimming after. 

Story Time

open bookJoin us at the Library for Story Time every Friday morning at 10:30 AM AND most Tuesday evenings at 6:15 PM. (some Tuesdays may be crafts only). Pumpkin Painting

PumpkinsThe Friends of the Library will be hosting a Pumpkin Painting evening at the Fort Recovery Public Library on Tuesday, October 9th. There will be three sessions for patrons to choose from, and the cost for the event is $1.00 per child. There is no charge for members of the Friends of the Library. Each session runs for 45 minutes and the beginning times are 4:30 PM, 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Please pre-register for this event by calling the Library at 419-375-2869. 

 

An Introduction to Yoga

The public is invited to the Fort Recovery Library for “An Introduction to Yoga” on select Wednesday mornings at 10:30 am. This basic introduction includes simple seated (chair) poses and standing poses which do not require a mat. For more information, please contact the Library at 419-375-2869. 

 

Food for Fines

The Library will be accepting non-perishable food items January 16 - January 28, 2017 in place of fines during the Annual “Food For Fines” event. $1.00 in fines will be waived for every item donated up to a maximum of $5.00. Fees from lost or damaged library materials are not eligible to be waived.
