Story Time
Babies through preschool aged children and a parent or guardian are invited to join us for Story Time at the Library. Story Times are held Tuesdays at 6:15 PM and Fridays at 10:30 AM, October through April. A full calendar is available for upcoming Story Times. No registration is required.

Internet Use

The Fort Recovery Public library offers Internet access to patrons free of charge. Patrons wanting to use the Internet must read the acceptable Internet Use Policy and sign an agreement to comply with these policies. Please be aware that:

* The Fort Recovery Public Library is not responsible for content available on the internet.

* Patrons must have a library card present and must sign in at the circulation desk.

* Patrons under 18 must sign an agreement form along with a parent or guardian to use the Internet.

Lending Policy

* Every patron must show his/her library card to check out materials.

* Lost cards will be replaced for a $2.00 fee.

* Items can be renewed in person, online, or by phone no more than 2 times. If the item is requested by another patron, it may not be renewed.

* Patrons under 18 years of age cannot check out Blu-Rays or  DVDs.

* Patrons are limited to 10 (ten) movies at a time.

Loan Periods

The circulation periods for library materials are as follows:

* Books - 28 days

* Audio-Enabled Books - 28 days

* Audio books - 14 days

* Magazines - 14 days

* DVDs, Blu-Rays - 14 days

* CDs - 14 days

* Mobile Hotspots -14 days (non-renewable)

* Launch Pad - 14 days (non-renewable)

* STEAM Kits -  2 weeks (non-renewable)

* Tonie Box sets - 2 weeks (non-renewable)

Items may be renewed no more than 2 times.**

Volunteer Opportunities

The Friends of the Library exists to provide services and programs for the Fort Recovery Public Library. These programs are successful because of wonderful community volunteers. The following programs provide numerous opportunities to get involved and support the local library:

* Summer Reading Program

* Festival of Trees

* And More!

Friends of the Library Membership

New Members of the Friends of the Library are always welcome.

If you wish to become a member of the Friends of the Library or renew your membership, please stop by the library to pick up a registration form.

Membership forms and fees can be returned to the library in person or be mailed to:

* Members receive special privileges at the book sales, kids' craft days, notifications of special events and more.

* Thank you for your support!

Meeting Room

As a community service, the library makes its meeting room available for use by community groups when it is not being used for library related activities. Meeting room is available to the public for civic, cultural, charitable, or educational programs.

* The meeting room is free for Non-Profit organization groups and a $50 charge to anyone else.

Donation Opportunities

The Fort Recovery Public Library welcomes donations. Thank you for your generosity. 

Monetary Donations:
* You can make a significant difference with any charitable donation. Your contribution funds needed items directly to our library.

* Money can be used to donate items in honor or in memory of a loved one. A bookplate will be added to recognize this special donation.

Book Sale

The Fort Recovery Public Library Sponsors three (3) book sales per year. The funds received help fund library materials and special programs. Donations are always welcome.
