A Note of Thanks

Closing Early

space - A Universe of Stories ThemeThe Library will close at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, July 17th to allow our staff time to prepare for the Summer Reading Program Finale at Ambassador Pool Park. Join us at 5:00 PM at the Cooper Brothers Park Pavilion behind Ambassador Pool for our Finale to "A Universe of Stories". Participants and their families are invited to swim at the pool at no charge after 6:00 PM. Thanks to everyone that made our pool party a terrific success!

Alien Abduction

planet surrounded by a ring of booksCan you solve the mystery? Everyone's favorite History teacher is missing; Is it an alien abduction? Students (grades 3 and above) are invited to join us for a fun game of detective at the Library on Wednesday, July 3rd at 10:30 AM.

 

Story Time

Medicare 101

Join Dave Painter, from the Ohio Department of Insurance, as he shares an overview of Medicare benefits and options at the Library on Monday, June 17th at 1:00 PM. This program, sponsored by the Mercer County Council on Aging, is a free presentation. For additional information, please call 419-586-1644. 

Story Time and STEM Space Activity

Students in grades 2 and above are invited to joins us for a fun STEM space activity at the Library on Friday, June 14th at 10:30 AM. This activity will be held the same time as a Story Time for the younger kids. Bring the whole family up for some fun and learning at the Library!

Used Book Sale

stack of old booksA used book sale will be held at the Library October 14 - October 19, during regular library hours. Books are buy one, get one free, for Members of the Friends of the Library. Saturday, October 19 will be a special sale day: $1.00 per bag of items. The library accepts donations of gently used books, DVDs, Blu-Rays and audiobooks. Items not accepted are VHS tapes, cassette tapes, textbooks, magazines, dictionaries, encyclopedias, and books in poor condition. Thank you for supporting your local library.
