The 11th Annual Fort Festival of Trees will be held at the Library December 7 - December 30 during normal business hours. Contact the Library at 419-375-2869 for more information.

Jim Waechter from the Museum of the Soldier in Portland, IN, will be here at the Library on Tuesday, November 10th at 6:30 PM. He will be bringing some WWII memorabilia. The year 2015 marks the 70th Anniversary of the end of WW II. Thank you to all the veterans, past and present, that serve our country to protect our freedoms.

The Library will host a kids craft night on Tuesday, November 17 at 6:15 PM until 7:00 PM. This free event is open to the public and requires no pre-registration.

The Library will be open Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM for the Community Christmas Open House. The annual Scholastic Book Fair, sponsored by the Friends of the Library, will be open during the Christmas Open House.

Join us for a live game of CLUE @ the Library Tuesday, November 24 from 5:45 PM - 6:30 PM! Students in grades 4 - 7 are invited to participate in this free activity night at the Library where they will use detective skills to find the clues that will help solve the mystery.

The Library will host a Craft Night at the Library on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 6:15 PM. This free event is open to all elementary school kids and there is no registration required. 

Students in grades 4 - 7 are invited to the Library Tuesday, December 22, to participate in a Reader's Theater. The event will begin at 5:45 PM. For more information contact the Library at 419-375-2869.

Santa is coming to the Library on Tuesday, December 22nd from 5:30 - 7:00 PM. Anyone is welcome to come and visit Santa. Don't forget your cameras!

The public is invited to the Fort Recovery Library for “An Introduction to Yoga” with Sara Bruns, Wednesday, January 13, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. This basic introduction includes simple seated (chair) poses and standing poses which do not require a mat. This free event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. The Fort Recovery Library is looking for FR students in 4^th-6^th grades who have a love for reading and a willingness to work on a team. The Library is ready to register teams for the 2016 Battle of the Books. Students will read a selection of books and be prepared to answer questions in a competition with other local teams. The 2016 Battle of the Books will be held March 29^th at the Fort Recovery Library. The deadline to register a team is January 14^th. You can sign up at the Library or with your Language Arts teacher at school.
