Story Time
Babies through preschool aged children and a parent or guardian are invited to join us for Story Time at the Library. Story Times are held Tuesdays at 6:15 PM and Fridays at 10:30 AM, October through April. A full calendar is available for upcoming Story Times. No registration is required.Home Page

Join us as we celebrate another successful Summer Reading Program with a Pool Party. Refreshments and prizes will be at the Cooper Pavilion at the pool park. Children and their families can swim at the pool at no charge for the remainder of the evening.

The Friends of the Library is once again sponsoring a Pumpkin Painting event at the Library. Dates for the Event are October 2, October 4, and October 5. The cost is $2.00 per pumpkin. There will be no charge for Friends of the Library members. Pre-registration is required by calling the Library at 419-375-2869.

The Library is giving away Kiwi Crate STEM kits on Monday, October 11, 2021, to FR Library cardholders. The kits will be given on a first-come, first-served basis and no holds will be permitted. A Max of 2 kits per family will be given.

The Friends of the Library invite you to participate in a table centerpiece craft night on Tuesday, October 26 at 6:00 PM. Laura Wenning, owner of A Simple Touch, will instruct participants on how to assemble a Fall centerpiece. The cost for the event is $35 and includes all materials and instruction. Members of the Friends of the Library can participate for $30. Pre-registration is required by calling 419-375-2869 and space is limited.

The Library's Music Time program for babies and preschool-age children, accompanied by a parent or guardian, will be offered again on Tuesdays at 10:30 AM, beginning Tuesday, February 1, 2022. This 6-week program includes finger plays, music, and movement, for both the child independently and parent/child interaction. Anyone is welcome to attend this free program.
