The Library will be having a Used Book Sale at the Library Monday, April 18th through Friday, April 23rd, during regular Library hours.

Presenters, Jenni Smith and Laura Wenning, will show how to use small objects and lots of imagination to make a pretend home for fairies on Tuesday, May 3rd at 6:00 PM. The cost per fairy garden is $10 and pre-registration is required by calling 419-375-2869. Friends of the Library receive a $2.00 discount. All are welcome. Children should be accompanied by an adult.

The 2022 Summer Reading Program, "Oceans of Possibilites" will run Monday, June 6, through Wednesday, July 13, 2022. A variety of story times, games, crafts and activities will be available, as well as programs with special guests and chances to win prizes. Thank to the Psi Iota Xi Sorority and the Friends of the Library for sponsoring our Summer Reading Program and making it possible for us to share our love of reading!

Members of the local college baseball team, The Grand Lake Mariners, will be at the Library to share a story time and crafts. No registration is required. 

Join us for some fun outdoor games! Games will be appropriate for preschoolers and above. In case of inclement weather, games may be postponed for a later day.

Story Time is a fun time to learn and play! Join us for our special Summer Reading Program story times geared toward babies through preschoolers and a parent or guardian. Pre-registration is not required for this event.

Join us for "A Fishy Stem Project", where students in grades 2 - 5 are invited to learn how fish float in water. They will be able to experiment with materials to make an object that doesn't float OR sink! 

Students in grades 2 - 5 are welcome to join Mrs. Abby Scheidt, FR 3rd Grade Teacher, as she shares a fun story and activity. This project will be geared more for older children. For more information, contact the library at 419-375-2869.

Whether exploring the vast open sea or the far reaches of space, the possibilities for adventure are endless! Program participants will look at these two areas of exploration and "dive deep" into the similarities and differences between them. Participants will look at the necessary tools and resources needed to explore these harsh otherworldly environments like protective suits and oxygen. Program is intended for students in Second Grade and above.

Join the Mercer County Soil and Water Conservation District as they share "The Incredible Journey". Students will become a water molecule and travel through the water cycle. This program is intended for students ages 8 and up.
