Story Time
Babies through preschool aged children and a parent or guardian are invited to join us for Story Time at the Library. Story Times are held Tuesdays at 6:15 PM and Fridays at 10:30 AM, October through April. A full calendar is available for upcoming Story Times. No registration is required.

Summer Reading Program Begins

The 2022 Summer Reading Program, "Oceans of Possibilites" will run Monday, June 6, through Wednesday, July 13, 2022. A variety of story times, games, crafts and activities will be available, as well as programs with special guests and chances to win prizes. Thank to the Psi Iota Xi Sorority and the Friends of the Library for sponsoring our Summer Reading Program and making it possible for us to share our love of reading!

Grand Lake Mariners Story Time

A Fishy Stem Project

Join us for "A Fishy Stem Project", where students in grades 2 - 5 are invited to learn how fish float in water. They will be able to experiment with materials to make an object that doesn't float OR sink!

Armstrong Air & Space Museum

Whether exploring the vast open sea or the far reaches of space, the possibilities for adventure are endless! Program participants will look at these two areas of exploration and "dive deep" into the similarities and differences between them. Participants will look at the necessary tools and resources needed to explore these harsh otherworldly environments like protective suits and oxygen. Program is intended for students in Second Grade and above.

The Incredible Journey

Join the Mercer County Soil and Water Conservation District as they share "The Incredible Journey". Students will become a water molecule and travel through the water cycle. This program is intended for students ages 8 and up.
