The Library will be CLOSED Monday, January 2, in observance of New Year's Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, January 3 at 10:00 AM.

Students in grades 4 - 6 from Fort Recovery Schools and Coldwater Schools will compete in a Battle of the Books at the FR School Auditeria on Thursday, March 30th at 6:30 PM. Students are split into teams. 5 books are chosen for all the students to read, and questions will be asked about the books at the competition. The team with the most correct answers will be named the Champions. The public are invited to attend the Battle of the Books and support the kids. The Library will be showing the movie, "Clifford The Big Red Dog" on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 10:30 AM, in honor of Clifford's Birthday (February 14). The movie will be played using the projector in the community room and is free and open to the public. We ask that students under the age of 10 be accompanied by an adult. Feel free to bring folding lawn chairs and/or blankets. The movie is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. 

Join us for an afternoon of food and friendship on Wednesday, February 15th at 11:30 AM. Explore Amish titles, enjoy a light lunch, play games and fellowship. The cost for the event is $2. Pre-registration by February 8th is required by calling 419-375-2869.

The Library will be CLOSED so the staff can observe Good Friday with their families. We will reopen at 9:00 AM on Saturday, April 8, 2023. 

The Used Book Sale will be held at the Library, April 17-22, during regular business hours.  Patrons are invited to shop the sale for books, audio books, and movies for all ages and interests. A free-will donation will be accepted for items.  Donations in good condition are still being accepted. Items not accepted are textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader's Digest Condensed Version books, VHS tapes, cassette tapes, and magazines. The 2023 Summer Reading Program, All Together Now, kicks off today. Students will be able to enter for prizes, participate in scavenger hunts and more during the program. For more information, stop by the library.

Music Time is a program for babies and preschool-age children, accompanied by a parent or guardian. The session includes finger plays, music, and movement, for both the child independently and parent/child interaction.

It's movie time...gather your friends to watch this show All Together Now! *A Note for parents: Common Sense Media rates this movie for ages 10+. Snacks and covered beverages are welcome.
