Visit the Fort Recovery Public Library during the Annual Community Christmas Open House Sunday, November 11th from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Story Time will be offered in the afternoon in the library and is hosted by the Fort Pioneers 4-H program. The Friends of the Library is sponsoring a Scholastic Book Fair for families to purchase new books during the Open House and the sale will continue through the week during regular business hours. Proceeds from the Book Fair will go toward purchasing new books and materials for the library.

Santa Claus is coming to the Library! Join us from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM. Don't miss your chance to say hi and give him your wish list!

Join us for a Thanksgiving puzzle - Unlock the Box,  "Back To Reality". Grandma is getting more and more forgetful and can't find the key to her recipe box where her secret Thanksgiving dressing recipe is. She needs your help. Call the Library at 419-375-2869 to register your team of 6 to come and help Unlock the Box and save Family Thanksgiving! For specific times, please call the Library.

The Library will be closed December 24th and December 25th to celebrate Christmas. May you all have a safe and Merry Christmas!

The Library will be closing early on Monday, December 31. We will open at 10:00 AM and Close at 3:00 PM to celebrate New Year's Eve. Have a Safe Holiday!

The Fort Recovery Education Association (FREA) is sponsoring a Winter Reading Program. Fort Recovery Local Schools students of all grades are encouraged to check out books at the FR Public Library January 18th - February 23rd. Students earn a sweet treat every time they check out books, and for every 100 books checked out during this time period, FREA will donate one book to the school library and one to the public library. The more students read, the more books the libraries earn! Thank you FREA for sponsoring this great program.

A used book sale will be held February 4 - 9 during regular library hours. Books are buy one, get one free for Members of the Friends of the Library.
