Are you ready to regain control over your kitchen and make it the oasis you know it could be? Tuesday, March 12th, at 6:00 PM join Olive, from Organized by Olive (professional organizer), at the Library as she shares tips and tricks on how to organize your kitchen. Patrons age 50 and over are invited to participate in an Adult Reading Challenge February 1 - March 1, sponsored by: Briarwood Village, Celina Manor, Van Wert Manor and the Libraries of Mercer County. Each time a patron checks out books, audio books, or digital books, he/she can fill out one entry form (per visit) for a chance to win weekly prizes.

Tuesday, February 26th at 6:00 PM, Alison Homan will be at the Library to give a demonstration with her Instant Pot. You can make delicious foods in a fraction of the time that it would take with conventional methods. Join the Friends of the Library as she shares two (2) soup recipes that can be made in 30 minutes or less, but taste as if they've been simmering all day. 

National Library Week is April 7 - 13. First celebrated in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association and libraries across the country each April to show appreciation for our loyal patrons. The Library will waive fines up to $5 for overdue items returned during National Library Week. Stop by the library, check out new materials and sign up for great giveaways.

Join us at the Library, Tuesday, May 7 at 5:00 pm or 6:00 pm, and create your own summer fairy garden. Presenter, Jenni Smith, will show us how to use small objects and lots of imagination to make a pretend home for fairies. Materials will be provided and all ages are welcome to attend. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The cost for this event is $5.00 per person and registration is required. Money must be paid in advance for this event. Please stop by the Library by April 30th to make your reservation. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

The Summer Reading Program, "Tails and Tales", begins today. Check out the calendar for a schedule of programs and activities.

Kids come and sit down with some of the players from the Grand Lake Mariners and enjoy a story time and craft. Everyone is sure to have a "ball"!

Do you know how far apart the planets in our solar system are? Come learn with us as an educator from the Armstrong Air & Space Museum gives a hands-on presentation for kids at the Library on Friday, June 7, at 10:30 AM. 

Get wild about animals with the Mobile Teaching Zoo from Wild Hearts African Farm. Join us for a 1 hour program with live animals as we learn about birds, mammals, reptiles, bugs and more on Tuesday, June 11 at 4:00 PM. This program is part of the 2019 Summer Reading program and is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Come, learn and explore different ways to power rockets during this outdoor program at the Library on Wednesday, June 19 at 1:30 PM. This program is part of the 2019 Summer Reading Program.
