Join us on Wednesday, July 17th as we celebrate another successful Summer Reading Program with food, prizes, and a pool party. Hot dogs, chips, and drinks will be served at 5:00 at the Shelter house at the pool park with prizes given at 5:45. Children and their families can swim at the pool at no charge for the remainder of the evening. Thanks for participating in our 2019 Summer Reading Program!

A used book sale will be held at the Library May 28 - June 1 during regular library hours. Books are buy one, get one free, for Members of the Friends of the Library.

Join Dave Painter, from the Ohio Department of Insurance, as he shares an overview of Medicare benefits and options at the Library on Monday, June 17th at 1:00 PM. This program, sponsored by the Mercer County Council on Aging, is a free presentation. For additional information, please call 419-586-1644. 

Students in grades 2 and above are invited to joins us for a fun STEM space activity at the Library on Friday, June 14th at 10:30 AM. This activity will be held the same time as a Story Time for the younger kids. Bring the whole family up for some fun and learning at the Library!

Babies through elementary school students are invited with a guardian or parent to join us for a fun Story Time and craft at the Library at 6:00 PM.

Can you solve the mystery? Everyon'es favorite History teacher is missing; Is it an alien abduction? Students (grades 3 and above) are invited to join us for a fun game of detective at the Library on Wednesday, July 3rd at 10:30 AM.

Babies through elementary school students are invited with a guardian or parent to join us for a fun Story Time and craft at the Library on Saturday, July 13th at 10:30 AM. This program is part of the 2019 Summer Reading Program.

The public is invited to visit the Fort Recovery Public Library on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, anytime between 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM to meet with members of the Mercer County Board of Elections. Patrons can register to vote, update an address, and view one of the new voting machines to be used in Mercer County. No registration is required.

The Friends of the Library will be hosting a Pumpkin Painting evening at the Fort Recovery Public Library on Tuesday, October 8th. There will be three sessions for patrons to choose from, and the cost for the event is $1.00 per child. There is no charge for members of the Friends of the Library. Each session runs for 45 minutes and the beginning times are 4:30 PM, 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Please pre-register for this event by calling the Library at 419-375-2869. 

A used book sale will be held at the Library October 14 - October 19, during regular library hours. Books are buy one, get one free, for Members of the Friends of the Library. Saturday, October 19 will be a special sale day: $1.00 per bag of items. The library accepts donations of gently used books, DVDs, Blu-Rays and audiobooks. Items not accepted are VHS tapes, cassette tapes, textbooks, magazines, dictionaries, encyclopedias, and books in poor condition. Thank you for supporting your local library.
